Don’t fall for the advertising.
Commercially produced moisturizers, lotions and chapsticks are loaded with industrial chemicals & petroleum derivatives like petrolatum, silicone, ethanol, parabens and polydimethylsiloxane, because they are cheaper than natural ingredients.
They are full of artificial dyes and synthetic fragrances to get your attention and packaged in plastic, 75% of which is not recycled.
They contain synthetic oil stabilizers, preservatives and antimicrobials so they can sit on the shelf forever.
These synthetic chemicals and plastics have no place on people’s skin or floating around in the environment.
